RedTideNews is a catalog of 636 Mac programs, games and plugins, put together and maintained by Rosa Delgado. Every entry includes version numbers, file size, compatibility notes and install information, and where possible, older builds are kept listed for Macs that cannot run the latest release. This page is a personal reference and news desk, not a guarantee that a program will install or perform correctly on your particular Mac. Check the developer’s own system requirements before you download or buy—things change with every update, and one person’s setup can’t cover every hardware and OS combination.
What the catalog covers
The site is divided into six main sections: macOS, Final Cut Pro Plugins, Games, Mac Apps, VST Plugins, and PDF tools. Pages are written as short news briefs, giving you the key fact first and supporting detail after. When an update is noted, the reason given—bug fix, new feature, compatibility patch—is what the developer has publicly stated. RedTideNews does not independently test every piece of software, and nothing on the site should be taken as a personal endorsement.
Accounts, favorites and comments
You can browse the entire catalog without an account. A free account lets you save programs to a favorites list and receive on‑site notifications when one of those programs gets an update. Accounts also allow commenting on program pages. Every comment is read by a real person before it appears publicly. While your comment is waiting, you will see it marked “awaiting moderation.” RedTideNews reserves the right to decline or remove any comment without entering into a debate. Abusive, spammy or off‑topic remarks do not belong here, and the moderation call is final.
